A lot of those changes look like unique pve changes to make his grind a little easier... adjusted respawn time of NPCs in Neriak 3rd gate?.... you been camping some mobs back there for ez safe xp away from all the pvp?

I just knew people talked about the raptor crap in the past. I never looked into it because I am not in the raid scene.

In my opinion that's pretty corrupt and looks bad on the server whether it has any real significance or provides an advantage or not, but who cares what I think.

As far as challenging a dev to leveling on this server, I think Sirken has made some lower level chars to fuck around before. You don't have to go all the way to 50 to test out the experience.

The XP bonus for some is a result of being lazy

for others its a result of being no one to level with and to catch up to the level where they can find groups.

All systems or solutions have pros and cons. Look at spawn variance for example. I've even learned to accept teams as a server format. FFA has problems, so does teams. /shrug.

If some xp bonus gets the population up and people noticing and reporting bugs... its good. Even if I'm against it because it isn't classic.

It's not hard to level a toon on this server, I could start a new one without help and be 51 in a couple weeks, you just have to know a couple of good places to level. Even the pvp isn't bad. 98% of people will be cool if you talk to them. The other 2%, well, no one can corpse camp you if you turn off the game and go outside for a while.

The best way to get more players is to have more players. Wipe it. Start over. (that's pretty much what they're planning to do in a round about way). And don't fuck up the launch. Don't lose 500 players in one week.
