Kunark is not releasing for at least 2-3 months after new server release... Well at least thats what the whole population wants. Did GMs state server was starting in classic and progressing? Didn't watch the entire stream.

And that's how logic and common sense works, you prioritize things based on a global NOT singular view. It's impact on the server being far more damaging then it's effect upon the one class.

Bind yourself right outside OT Fort, ding 30-52 in a day, yea sounds legit. Sorry but Swarm kiting is really good enough for a bard to solo to 60 faster than any other class in game.

When this became prevalent on Live they nerfed it, of course 15 years later everybody knows exactly how to do it and most toons on this server hit 60 because of it. On live 80% of the toons weren't bard lvl'd to 60.

AGAIN... fucking Kunark is not open on release, making 90% of your complaining in this thread irrelevant. Do you even know the difference between "swarm" kiting and pbae kiting? Do you understand that "SWARM" kiting doesn't even function here as it should?

Again, if your argument is that LOW HP AGGRO KITING should be nerfed, I agree. But that's entirely separate from bard PBAE kiting, something that I did on live through all of Velious.

Learn to fucking read long enough to realize I'm in agreement that low hp aggro needs to be fixed before the new box releases.

Pretty obvious that you simply want the mechanic removed all together. Either that or you don't understand that Bard AE kiting = running in circles to AE mobs whereas swarm kiting = abusing social aggressiveness of NPCs to charm one out of a group of 15, /pet attack then break charm before the whole grp kills your pet so you can finish it for xp.

Do not presume to know what the staff can and cannot handle in terms of coding. Low hp kiting could very easily be fixed if they indeed wanted it to be. Either adjust the hate generated by bard AE, adjust the hate modifier that having low HP uses, or do both.

But again.... bard kiting will be viable to 30-35ish AT MOST when this server is released. And considering how many people will be populating every single classic zone, it's going to be slow as fuck. Use some common sense, seriously.

Having been laughed at for asking to group with folks a few times now, and being a new player with no "bro's" in game I say leave bards alone. What class do you play, I am sure I can find plenty of needed nerfs with other classes in game if you really wanna go that route. Besides I sat by the other night while a hi lvl druid PL'd a dood on the mobs I had been killing until he was my lvl then the two of them tried to kill me....so fuck anyone who wants to change my class.

Besides, for anyone kiting mobs all it takes is one net stutter, one cpu flutter to end your good time anyway. While some folks may think kiting is ultra easy it isn't for everyone and twisting while maybe not requiring huge skill, still takes some skill and wrecks your hands after awhile and since no one thinks that my CC/Group buffs/heals/slows/dots are worth having in a group then fuck em. After 30 i'll become a lvling god and everyone not on the bandwagon can kiss my rosy red ass.

A no named nobody feedin citizen.
