Not only is Draqnier a scammer but a KSing dickhead as well.

I honestly am not so much frustrated at the fact that he hasn't been banned but more so at the fact that he hasn't been completely boycotted yet. Why not just blackball him like in the good old days?

Also, I'm not sure if the GM's can find out if plat disappeared using logs. I'm also not sure they want to help people out unless they provide steps on how to replicate the problem. Then again it seems to just be lag-related..

There was a 'trick' some used on Live...

They would put up an item, such as a Fungi in trade. When you put up the money, they'd "pretend" of have accidentally clicked cancel.

On the 2nd trade, they'd put up an item, like a cloth shirt with an identical graphic and wait for you to put up the money and hit trade again.

So - always - right before you hit trade, double check that item.

That may or may not have been possible in this situation - just a FYI.

I would also like to add that Draqnier is a condom cleaner.

Yea ive heard of people swapping out manastones with lightstones at the last second then hitting trade.

Make sure to double check the item before you hit trade!

This is Draqnier guy sounds like a real douche. Someone should warn other people not to trade with him at EC tunnel and black list him.

Of course he can just start doing it again with a different character.
Unless he were caught and banned simply avoiding this character alone wouldn't solve the problem.

One thing I miss about global was it was easier to blacklist players such as Draqnier, now all the new comers dont know to avoid certain people untill the get scammed =/

Either way..

RIGHT before you click trade, double check that item in the trade Window. Unsure, check it again.

Just do a 'once over' on all things before you click trade, if that window closes for whatever reason - check it all again.

Then - immediately after, check your inventory.

Be paranoid - like me, I'll make sure the top left spot is open, so I know where that item will go. I'm a bit paranoid on bigger item trades.

I have yet to be scammed hard, and wanna keep it that way. But I'm hesitant on buying/selling anyway. If it's a big $$$ item, then I'll usually pass on buying unless it's someone I've seen around or in trade a decent amount and if you are too low level - forget it.
