Yes, I stood and took an experience death, it's inconsequential considering I was at around a 90% probability of dying from what I was doing anyway and have a rl friend with a cleric who was camped there.
If you assume I was or am mad over the death, unfortunately you are incorrect. I admittedly got annoyed when I was told I "got owned" because I was at 20%hp and FD when two wizard mobs capable of nuking me for over 1000dmg right beside me. I was under the impression that in order to claim ownership or superiority one would have to win a proper fight and not attack someone who is in no position to defend themself.
I found out shortly after that my assumption of the person to be a WoW player was correct, which explained their confusion over the definition of "owning" someone. The twelve year olds who populate that game are not often the proud owners of a dictionary.

All in all, whomever Marie is pulled a shady move on me, not on a member of Nihilum. NW is my friend and plays Yawg, but it was not him playing then. Instead you killed probably the nicest and most helpful person on the entire server.
I've been around since beta and I doubt you'll find anyone here to talk shit about me. I'm the guy who goes around trying to help people and keep new players on the server while others do their best to grief them off. I have ingame friends in I believe every single guild, I have never attacked anyone unless I was defending myself or a groupmate, with the exception of Beck who I informed directly I would be attacking every time for violating what I believed to be a peace agreement.
Though it goes against the beliefs of pretty much everyone on the Red server, I dislike pvp. I do not believe it right to attack people unawares and to talk shit afterwards is a detestable practice to me. If I kill you, you'll be paying attention, you'll know I am coming, and I will NOT be attacking you from behind.

All that being said, congratulations on still not actually killing me. Had you nuked immediately, I would have died, you'd have gotten the yellow text that apparently is important to you, and I would have had to actually run back from the firepots.


P.S. If you actually talk with and interact with everyone on the server, you'll find that there's really nice people in every guild, especially Nihilum. The hate everyone seems to propagate against them is more likely gaining them new members. I get called Nihilum scum and attacked regularly because I am high level and not showing a guild tag. Nihilum people have killed me for being in their way, but you other guilds will attack anyone who isn't one of you. It's not exactly a brilliant policy for future recruitment.

Cid really is a cool guy. Cool person to sit and chat with while demolishing seafuries. Couldn't see him ever being mad over a PvP death, or PvE since Piglet is a fail ganker. Would easily vote as the nicest person on the box. Would trust with my account.

I have been friends with the guy who plays NW since before these servers existed. I do not know the exact details of what he said that everyone hates him for but my friendship with him is not determined by the events within a videogame. What little I know of what was said was deplorable and had I been involved I would have done whatever I could to shut him up. It still would not change my loyalty to a friend.

You do not know the circumstances of our friendship and I will not explain it. He is my friend and will always be my friend regardless of whether or not I agree with him being an asshole in EQ. If you feel the necessity to hate me by association, I understand. I will still offer you assistance if I see you needing it, the choice will be up to you on whether or not to accept it.

You could just attack me, I just listed all of my characters' names. You will find I am difficult to kill, though. The two deaths I have on the pvp leaderboard are because I was trying to talk to the people and I was neither fighting back nor attempting to flee.

Actually I am extremely long winded and known for writing out long posts and tells. It is not an indication of anger, I assure you of that. If pvp or dying made me angry I would not have continued on Red from day 1 until now without joining a guild or killing anyone.
I've even offered you assistance though you doubtfully have forgotten. I have you the wizard's AE snare when we met in OoT while you were camping the AC, and I have the other copy of it I had to Qazzaz I think it was the same night. I believe I was on my mage Colt at the time, it wasn't long after the Kunark release.


Kimm, that was Northwest you killed then. I have only died pvp on Yawg three times. Once in Oasis in his 40s to a shaman/monk team, once to a druid in Everfrost while I was afk, and once in City of Mist to a wizard I think. There might be another, but I have not died many times on any character. I don't take pride in that, I simply don't fight. If you've ever killed me I was probably afk or low on health from pve or canni/manstone.

If you are trying to incite me to anger, you are not going to succeed. I really do not care if you hate me or attack me in a videogame. I actually have pity for you that anyone could have caused you such animosity based solely upon words. You may insult me to your heart's content, though hopefully with more imagination that calling me a homosexual over and over, and it will not matter to me.

Nothing anyone says is going to affect me if anyone wishes to drop in and try to insult me. In reality I think worse of myself than any of you could possibly cause with petty insults. You should really just let go of your anger, life is too short to be pissed off all the time.
