Yngwie puts Ferrari stickers on his Strats to make him play super fast.

I remember the first time I heard the main theme from this Yngwie song, it reminded me a lot of this Nintendo song =P

Devout Sabbath fan here, but, god damn it Rick Rubin. Must he over-compress every single album? Sabbath can sound so much better than this.

Geezer's killing it, but the bass is a little too overbearing for my taste. Tony still preaching the malicious, grime-infested, break neck riffage we all love, though.

I know what you mean, but they drive it so hard that it's not actually over-produced. It's produced on their level.

You're a mongrel son of a flea-bitten rat and a sea cucumber.

I'm a big fan of bass-guitar (as opposed to overall bass tone) in the foreground. If you actually listen to the old albums, Sabbath pioneered that and featured tracks that were MUCH more bass-guitar heavy than their contemporaries. I think it has only rarely been done right since: primus, ratm, one or two others..
