Reading this makes me want to download eve but the amount of time the game has been out is it worth to start?

It's fairly easy to get into a certain "career", doesn't take much training time, the only advantage vets have is one character can have skills for multiple careers.

That being said, a 28m SP pilot who can build ships better than you has no combat advantage.
