This log was before resist changes.

What do you think they did to disable Dictate being used on Sirran on Live?

They did not raise his level out of Dictate range.

They did not have specific flags to prevent it (This is prior to resist system revamp).

The only way would have been to raise his Magic Resistance, I don't know what else they could have done.

So basically it seems that in EQ when an irresistible force meets an immovable object, the force loses, i.e. MR immune mobs are immune to 'unresistable' spells.
