It’s so cute when you beg.

Go get your own parses.

I’ll provide them [logs]freely to anyone else. I enjoy doing/watching them and understanding the game.
It is cute you think I am begging. Ego issue. I am just making you post more evidence of you refusing to post logs. You keep digging a bigger hole for yourself. I still don't understand why you think you are hurting me.

Your logic of making yourself look bad to somehow hurt me is the most nonsensical thing I've seen.

Things are looking up for the forums if Troxx and Bcbrown break their two year streak of providing zero data. I am genuinely excited.

My open offer of healing either your SK or monk on my druid or cleric remains, as always, open. We could easily get an hour of data on Mentrax/Eldrak if you'd like!

I suggest you take him up on this offer. It is generous and seems to be sincere. My response to any future begging from you will be the same: You can pay me for my time or you can go fuck yourself. No more freebies.

Problem with mobs like Bloodmaw in GD and that dang turtle in Iceclad is that they don’t fit into standard game mechanics. They are green at higher levels … it’s about as reliable as finding an orc pawn with infinite hp and trying to learn much of anything from it.

It doesn’t carry over to the xp group part of the game where you are fighting dark blues and certainly doesn’t paint an accurate picture vs red con raid targets.

Convenient? Very much so.

Useful? Possibly … as long as you acknowledge the limitations and break points.

There is some value for sure … but it would be a mistake to try and use those results and translate that to real world expectations via napkin math.

Name a mob you think is a good parse target then! I can parse against it and we can compare notes.

A parse against Eldac/Mentrax at 20-30 minutes per side would be fantastic data.

Does Troxx agree? Is this a Troxx approved Mob for parsing at a Troxx approved timeframe?

It’s a big wide game. Do you really need one of us grown-ups to tell you how to go parse a thing or where to go to get it done? You talk a big game - I figured hopefully you’d be smart enough to do that on your own.

I’ll give you some advice though:

-For accuracy you will want to control all variables as closely as you can. I recommend no buffs as they could expire while you gather data.

-For monks specifically you can, with time, obtain parses of great length off the same exact mob to control all variables. Find a static mob spawn that doesn’t wander and meets the criteria for what you’re trying to investigate. Fight it until it is low. FD to let it regen. Stand up and go again. Rinse and repeat.

AC/attack and other variables can range pretty widely from one zone or expansion to another.

Go forth and figure it out. Quit begging others to do work for you.
