Sustainability my man. You can't convince 40 people to contest a target at shit hours when they know they will lose or high a very high chance of losing. Maybe a few times...but I'm sure you realize this.

this is true, and it's also why the idea of two guilds being on even footing in the endgame just isn't possible with this population

one guild will always win out a few fights, morale will be low for the other guild so people will be less inclined to log in to contest, the winning guild will get more applicants since most people coming into the raid scene want to actually raid, etc.

good guys formed with the wrong goals under the wrong leadership

It's pretty clear if your guild is made for the expressed purpose of taking down the dominant guild, things generally won't go well.

I'm in GG and pretty depressed in the lack I've been able to gloat on others when killing uncontested raid mobs at odd hours. Definitely considering leaving soon, as I feel like real leaders could've motivated us to do more. If I join Empire, can you give me advice?

I want to play at all hours of the day, but I've been struggling, since I've found that I have to go to work and spend time with my family. But I know there must be other ways. Can you give me some pointers on how you are able to accomplish this feat?

Funny how contempter has pushing this argument for the last half decade. Only when it's with BDA on blue its against variance, here I guess it's for variance, I don't know.

I'm having fun playing here regardless dawg, I just think it's cute to talk so much trash about winning 4am repops when this game is your life. I'm not even for variance here though, enjoy :shrug:. Hate it on blue also but the sock would be even worse there without it.
