I love nostalgia too (hence P99) but it's a little weird to exploit people's nostalgia and encourage them to be children. It's patronizing and insulting.

I prefer to spend my mental energy on issues that actually matter. Do you watch Avengers movies? Know any adults that have ever quoted Harry Potter? Know any adults that have video game consoles?

I know adults that would call ALL of us immature for spending any of our time playing Everquest. Those are often adults that seem miserable to me, but they may very well be right.

I typically think of a leftist as someone who at least is a Democratic Socialist, the zero-sugar caffeine free type of socialist. Or a plain old socialist, but they seem rare outside of unions in big cities. And rarer yet in the south.
