2-boxing is a hard to discern thing. I know some people who play who just afk all the time because they play at work, or are busy in real life, anyone who has grouped with me knows i tend to afk alot due to having a 2 year old in the house. I am not computer savvy so proxy servers, ip addresses, etc have not much meaning to me, my wife was going to play with me, but i refused to get an ip exemption just for simple fact that with her being 100 percent new to mmo i didnt want the risk of being accused, after all 2-boxing seems to more bannable then using 3rd party. Personally i could care less if someone was boxxing, but i would report someone for 3rd party in a heartbeat. Ofcourse i play a solo class, so grouping doesnt concern me, to each his own.
I would honestly not worry about being accused dual boxing unless you actually are.

I only can log into MMO's with buddies. When I was more active on P99 a buddy and myself played every moment together. We were accused of dual boxing and had to deal with GMs almost every single time we logged in. Which basically ran us off the server.

Never think you innocence will protect you.

I leveled a character exclusively with my brother and never once had to deal with GMs or anyone accusing us of dual boxing.

Anecdotal evidence works both ways.

So maybe this is a little trollish but the definition of two boxing is vague enough that I can't help but ask.

Would the following player be considered 2 boxing if they were playing on P99?

TLDR: One of them controls one side of the body, and the other controls the other side. So they would have to both be dual boxing, technically, if using mouse and keyboard... or be able to play with one hand.

I imagine most trauma could be fatal to both, but some trauma to only one. The twin(s) seem pretty cool too.

Another hypothetical would be someone with no arms, who's boyfriend plays for her/girlfriend plays for him, while also playing themself. Perhaps just occasionally when their assistive device cannot complete the task at hand.

I mean we are playing an MMORPG, which is often used by people with disabilities to engage in social interactions without getting the "handicap treatment".

ummm wtf?

Since when do armless people play EQ? I don't even understand how watching another person play "your" character would even be remotely fun. Watching EQ is one of the most boring things you can do...

Well actually, as far as armless people, I dated a pretty cool girl I met on EQ for a while who had a handicap with her hands/lower arms. She wasn't armless, but she definitely was limited.

She joined the game before we met, on her own. So yeah, it does happen.

You think handicapped people are just blobs that sit in bed or something? They like games as well...
