More guys should go nursing. My son did that, is a CRNA now making $180,000 at 29, and he was one of like 5 straight guys in his class at UTHealth (out of 120 or so) at age 20-22. He banged like 40 girls from that class, made $60k a year by age 23, and now makes $180,000 before benefits. Full disclosure, I paid for both his undergrad and graduate school and so he had no debt, but nursing is something y’all should consider. Since most of you are misogynists and can’t relate to women, it might also increase your social skills and improve your chances of becoming a complete human being
God bless

Yes nursing is very good.
I don't have the right temperament for it, though, and have no problem relating to women (thanks mom). Furthermore, I paid off all my student debt within 2 years of graduating due to making a smart choice of where I finished university and what I did immediately after it. Patriam is right!

Nurses are amazing.
Doctors get all the glory, they're there for the promises and the false hope. When they fail, they leave, they're gone. Its the nurse that has to stay there with the patient, and greet everyone coming to visit them on their deathbed. Its the nurse that has to cope with the failures at a hospital. Bless the nurses Screw the doctors.

$72k a year in 2012 = $78.5k now, and Houston Methodist has good benefits so factoring that in he was closer to 85k in today’s terms. They contribute 3% to your 403b, for instance, regardless of whether the employee gives anything. They match an additional 4%
This line of posts wasn’t “my son is better than you,” it was more about how you can easily and affordably find a sustainable career path since I’m guessing a lot of people make significantly less than that and would like to do better Glad to hear you’re 46 chaboo. Was worried about your health when I assumed you were in your 30s
