Theyre discussing stopping power and the effect it has on a person upon impact. Its completely relevant and quality knowledge to take into consideration when forming an opinion on the video.

Glocks are actually pretty good guns. They even have models in .45 ACP. Polymer guns are legit, be it Glock, Sig, Springfield, or S&W M&P. The old standards of Colt, Ruger, and S&W aren't the only ones to go by anymore. I'm still apprehensive of anything made by Taurus though.

Here's some fun stuff about the 9mm vs. .45 ACP debate:

Something tells me this debate won't be settled anytime soon, barring the introduction of phased plasma weapons in the 40-watt range.

In general, loading 9mm +P in 127-147 grain hollowpoints (if even an option in your state) will do a pretty good job against a person. .45ACP +P in 230 grain is generally overkill. Being able to stop a dude cranked out on meth and PCP with either in one or two shots is dubious unless you've trained properly and extensively or get really lucky. Even then, not so much.

If you're shooting cheap ass Blazer rounds out of either, your mileage may vary.

I agree, glocks are solid guns. They just never really caught my eye, not a fan of their design. But I have read they are very rugged and can withstand a good amount of abuse. If I ever catch a good deal on one though I'll pick one up, just out of curiousity.

I'd have to say my all time favorite, on fun factor alone is a colt python. That is a hell of a fun gun to shoot.

Theres only 2 things i like about glocks.
1. They're pretty damn hard to break.
2. I would not feel guilty about using it as a makeshift hammer. Whether for nails or someones skull if it came to.
