I disagree with his decision, but he constantly talks about OpSec and this decision promotes that idea so I'm not surprised.

I think a nice compromise would be to ACTUALLY FOLLOW THE LAW OF OFFICIALLY DECLARING WAR ON ANOTHER COUNTRY.

That would help.

the equation of ideology to violence which may be responded to with violence (and doxxing is that) is repugnant. it escalates the cycle of conflict and injects physical threat into a political sphere which has successfully kept such out for 2 centuries. the notion that there is a threat of genocide in the US is laughable; the only way that stuff proceeds from the margins is to get everyone fired up on political violence. keep it civil. believe in our institutions which have uplifted the whole world. be an American.
