Can we all agree we need to have age limits on politicians? Cocaine mitch going full blown stroke and blowing it off as nothing. If you can't fill out your term and be under the age of 70, you can't run. Enough is enough. No 70 year old is functioning at the level they need to be if they are in a position of power.

I’d rather ban the obese from holding office or collecting benefits of any form, but sure, bar the old and implement term limits as well

If this is such an overarching Unitarian sentiment, let's see you "vote" these gargoyles out of office.

The reality is, you can't actually vote these people into retirement. Look at when Obama beat Romney, or Bush jr. Beat Kerry.
You'd assume losing the vote means that's it for them, but nope, the very next administrative flip installs these guys right back into power, whether it's an elected position or not is irrelevant; they are our ruling class from birth; they just get weaseled in somewhere else till they die while they sockpuppet oppositional roles of our assigned political contrivances and grievances. So when was the last working class Joe installed into the presidency?

Jimmy Carter is as close to a working class Joe as a modern American president can realistically get. Dude grew up on a farm with about the level of wealth a typical middle class person would have. It eventually became a successful farm, but Jimmy Carter was a successful guy.
Not to imply that question was asked in good faith.
