So I'm reading their forums....I don't know what all has gone on over there but looks like a bunch of p99ers have behaved like a bunch of total asshats....or a bunch of MAC users never experienced real EQ. Bertoxx was a bigger cesspool during classic era than p99 has ever been, imo.
Just takes a couple bad apples I guess.

There was some trolling from fake name users on the forums.
Obvious trolls were obvious. Bards must do much clicky.

Bards always do much clicky. My question is, is AoE kiting as it was on live classic?

Kiting in all of its wondrous forms work there, yes; bards rejoice! Training/aggro transfer works properly, ie if you only have proximity aggro, mobs will aggro someone else if they get run over (Lron isn't very good at this). Therefore swarm kiting also works and is the fastest exp in the game!
Also this should be in the off topic forum.

How can you possibly be AoE kiting here? I rolled a bard here in the past few days and any pull over 3 mobs results in 1k+ latency from the server. Trying to circle in close to land a tick = hit by a shit ton of mobs. Granted it will be different when I can charm and single target DoT for swarm kiting. Idk, maybe it has something to do with my client. I also noticed I can't search anything in the bazaar, it pops up a bunch of scrambled text strings instead of item names.

Thank you. That's fantastic. The kiting part, that is.
I enjoyed that era and have been jonesing to old school aoe kite like I did a few years ago just before the nerf...havent been in luclin or dealt with AA in forever and that would be cool to mix things up. And I never completed pop flagging before it was a non issue back then either so that would be cool too. I'll keep an eye out for a used mac or something coming up and do it legit tho....the locals seem to frown upon the whole cross platforming that's been going on and I can respect that. Sounds like a nice server over there. BTW, none of my questions should be taken as complaints about aoe-ing here, I think it's awesome that it can be done, all things considered. I've just been lazy and haven't relearned it.

Mine worked right away.
Make a folder C:\EQMac\ and put all the files from a FRESH copy of EQ Titanium there, not a copy that has P99 files and such in it already. Make sure all the EQ files and subfolders are going right into C:\EQMac\, not C:\EQMac\EQTitanium\ etc. Download the patch from http://www.2shared.com/file/DmtWSdX6...Edition-v.html and copy + replace all files from that folder to your C:\EQMac\ folder. Go to https://lp.soe.com/eqmac/live/ and login with a station username and password. This downloads the ACTUAL EQMac client to your computer. When the patch bar is complete, go to the little double white gears button (lower left on the patch window) to open options. Click "Open Game Directory". Check your task bar, it should have opened "EverQuest Mac" folder where it saved the files. In that folder go to Content > Resources folder, copy EVERYTHING, all files and folders, inside the Resources folder. Paste them into your C:\EQMac\ folder, overwrite anything it asks to, merge folders when it asks, etc. Make sure you put both the Secrets patch and the EverQuest Mac resources files in the main C:\EQMac\ directory, not any subfolders contained in it. Then from C:\EQMac\ run eqw.exe - everything should be set correctly, but just in case make sure "Fix eqclient.ini" is checked. Nothing else should be. Hit Start EQ.
