I really had no idea i was two boxing... I wasn't on Juice while dragging the body, I mean it was logged in upstairs while i was on my brothers char downstairs. I thought it meant having two accounts up on 1 pc while playing both simultaneously.

Doesnt really sound like 2 boxing to me, more a mistake i think a ban would be a bit over-reacted.

Just said hes dumb because he thought it isnt 2 boxing on 2 computers but i dont think he should get banned for this action, if he did nothing else.

if we are going to get technical, he was not operating one character while operating the other character.

if you are sitting, medding, waiting, whatever, and your brother can't find your corpse to drag it, and you go downstairs and you drag your corpse while NOT USING the other character, that's two-boxing? hmm.

I believe "operating" is defined as having a character logged in. That was from my understanding because unless you are pretty skilled, you can't really function properly using two characters simultaneously anyway. What I mean by that is healing character x (by pressing spell) while bashing with character x at the same time. However, medding with character y while fighting with character x is still 2boxing, (right?)

2boxing is basically one man running 2 characters at the same time. Because we didnt have any of this fancy alt tabbing or eq window bullshit, we had to have a second computer, aka the second "box" or 2 boxing.

Having a tank and following it with a cleric grouped and only using the cleric to basically heal would be the most basic form of EQ 2 boxing I can think of, it gets more elaborate from there.

When I Started playing and I got to about level 40 ish, my buddy (a cleric) couldn't be on to raid ssra sometimes, so I would box his cleric for CH chains and things where they absolutely needed the extra healer, so I was leveling somewhere completely different than where the 2nd box character was, but I was still 2 boxing. Not necessarily together, but still a double box.

So under this criteria, I could log in my second level 50 druid account and regen/ds/nature/heal my alt all day as long as he isn't moving while I cast anything.
