I watched Mountainhead last night. A movie written by completely unhinged cultists worried about AI.
It was pretty ok, funny to watch billionares in a house act like unemployeed 20 somethihngs in an airbnb comedy horror movie. This scene had me lauging out loud though. Skip it if you want to watch some bad HBO movie about billionaires and AI with Steve Carrol and Jason Shwartzmen to avoid spoiling the funniest scene in the movie. "At least it's better than nothing..." "Is it??"

And they ask it what’s the purpose of life and it says that it can’t compute the answer yet but it will in the future with more information. And then it skipped like 1000 years after humans use the AI to build all this crazy shit and they ask it again and again what the purpose of life is. And time and time again, it says that it can’t answer the question and it will answer the question in the future when it has more information. Some more time passes humans rise and fall the AI builds and spreads and we ask it again and again what’s the purpose of life and it can never answer the question and always says that it needs more information. So much time passes that soon the universe collapses, and before the AI is the last thing in the universe to exist, in order to obtain more information. It re-creates humanity after the next Big Bang. … So perhaps the tree hugging ludites are trying to stop the evil God from letting us exist. You never know!

Will AI ever have intuition?
If it does, will that make it indistinguishable from mankind? Quote:
