Sometime in the latter half of 2021 I got a call from a visit from a state official who was inquiring about my family's vaccination status;. You should've seen the look on her face when I lied to her face about being vaccinated. I looked her straight in the eye; her knowing that I knew that she knew that I was straight up fucking lying to her face while there was absolutely nothing she could do about it but accept it as fact, or admit that she violated HIPPA to know otherwise.

It was a big-time, "Look at the chutzpah on this guy" moment.

Rare situations and anecdotes don't make a vaccine "dangerous". Especially comparing to the scenario of a society not having demonstrably effective vaccines that have ridiculously low chances of complications.

why haven't i caught covid?

the industry that i work in wasn't just deemed essential, the PA governor mandated that we all were *required* to keep working all of our jobs at regular schedules, regardless of vaccination status, the water must flow. some days we say 30-40% over peak demand from years prior because everyone was doing everything at home.

So during your lame-ass PLANdemic, I changed nothing in my lifestyle. I went everywhere that was still open, i shared close spaces with hundreds of people, usually unmasked unless there was some dipshit hippy around. there was a common sense of WTF going on while so many businesses, stores and industries were required to distance, mask and vaccinate, but the water and power utilities weren't, because they are the last bastion of civilized society, when they go down, everyone goes down. and yet somehow, we're all fine.

I know folks who say they caught the bug and were back in action in less then 10 days, I don't know anyone who died, my extended family and friends don't know anyone who died.

So whats everyone else's excuse for being weak enough to die from a bad cold?
