148 people voted yes for an XP increase. Who are these select "trolls" you speak of? Seems like you are the one trolling us, Bro.
On the progression server, when they put classic style corpse runs to a
"player vote" the players also voted for no corpse runs.

Most players will always take the ez way out and choose the path of least resistance.

They shoud go play EQlive then, I hear the recruit-a-friend program they have has a permanent 200 percent xp bonus or some such. Try it out.

This is supposed to be 1999 EQ.
Completely irrelevant. If 75% of the server wants an experience increase, and you do not, why don't you create your own classic EQ emu. It doesn't matter what 'this is supposed to be' - it matters what it is. If making a change in the interest of 75% of the server happens, you need to go find another server to commit 40 hours a week to pixels.

Not to mention, as it has been repeated numerous times, exp loss on PVP without exp bonus is NOT CLASSIC.

I completely agree with you and was vehement in my defense of not putting it in.

However, I talk to people, I read the boards. The population is either all mostly at the top or just nearly barren at low lvls.

They came here to PvP, don't find it and leave. Why are they on a PvP server with no PvP if they already (likely) have a character on blue where there is more content?

This is what a man terrified of fading into internet obscurity looks like.
