What's really damning / interesting / funny / disheartening / scary is that the VERY FIRST result under the AI review is a link to Apple Podcasts that shows the most recent episdoe of this podcast being released today, with the last one being 2 weeks ago, and every week before then.

So if you google something and add "-ai" it will eliminate the AI results, but nobody does that. And nobody's even scrolling past the AI result these days.

Wish I haven't seen people google search something and then use the AI results to inform themselves - when it clearly contradicts the actual results Google finds.

lots of people are going to stop using google.com all together, chatgpt browser is available on iphones now so people won't even get links right under the ai making up shit so they won't even notice

chatgpt isn't as egregious as google ai overview with spouting off super obvious incorrect answers so people will trust it more and not even notice if things are wrong / censored on purpose eventually
