G-d made humans in G-d's image and gave humans free will. G-d does not desire or take pleasure in war. G-d commands us to not murder. For when we murder the image of G-d is murdered. It's our choice. Not G-d's. G-d could dominate us. Then G-d would be just as Satan. And we would never learn or grow or find enlightenment and peace. And we would be G-d's slaves. Not G-d's children. G-d gave us all the capacity for good. Love. Tolerance. And peace. Those that make war should be stopped. Cared for. Healed. And taught. Helped to see the error of their ways. And the delusions of their own egos.

A layperson may resent doing. An enlightened person simply understands the doing. A lay person seeks and needs pleasure. An enlightened person knows the pleasure, lives the pleasure. A lay person avoids suffering, is hindered. An enlightened being suffers being and lives the suffering. Understands the suffering. And it's source. Without judgment. To make the best choice. Or simply accept and experience it.

There is much more. This however is a basic understanding of enlightenment.

The human conceptualization and division of the world are simply human. The truth is that all is relational and interconnected eternally within a whole. Humans placing themselves above and apart is the illusion.

Humans act believe and behave delusionally. In ignorance. Irrationally. There's no benefit to this. Complicating life with ego and identity. Individual and group. When those concepts aren't real. As in the fundamental behaviors of particles. Or the real of pure awareness. Humans ascribe will and being and purpose and meaning where there really is none. Humans do this rather than acknowledging the true source of experience and awareness. And humans then proceed to behave in undesirable ways that conflict with human well-being. To behave like this, reacting directly to delusion and in need, on id, to fulfill ego is exactly what it is like to be unenlightened. To live a life trapped by eternal suffering. Against the universe. In dissonance. Instead of with harmony and contentment and understanding and acceptance.

It's very hard to explain in human terms. Most people never will reach enlightenment.

Humans have spent centuries reaching the moon. Without realizing the moon and humans are inseparable. One does not exist without the existence of the other. There really is no you. All Humans are just nodes of all other humans experiencing the same universe simultaneously. This is what is more real than the self in you who identifies as an American, Christian, philosopher, scientist, prolife, antigovernment, a hawaii pizza lover or hater. Those things. Concepts aren't true concepts. They aren't fundamental. Yes they exist. They serve no true meaningful purpose. They don't lead to understanding or freedom or enlightenment or out of suffering.

You can walk grounded in the dark valley of "I think therefore I am". Or just realize that all is. Being is. It's just "am". No I. Once this is understood then the entire universe is open and what "you" are going through no longer holds so much importance. No more control over you. It's no longer about controlling or needing or having. It just is an everything can be appreciated on another level. That Hawaiian pizza becomes miraculous and whole and full. All that goes into that moment and that pizza "so called good and bad", it all becomes apparent. The taste is fully experienced. And until this kind of awareness. You are just trapped in your by you. Whatever triggers this awareness. One day it may not be you any longer. It will just be. The universe. Everything. Not just the stars. Or the lake. Or the mountain or pizza. Awareness will exist beyond the immediate experience. And there will be a true knowing.

To debate this in words is hopeless. It can only be experienced through understanding. Meditation. Letting go. Becoming. And finally a form of knowing.

Humans are just humans. What is happening in the mind is a human experience. However experience itself. Everything. Is much greater than just being human. Human experience is not all that there is or all that matters. Human experience isn't the truth of the universe or reality. It isn't all there is. That is the original point.
