For some reason all the saudi and UAE petrol billionaires aren't starting tesla and space X I just don't understand why, I mean they have MONEY so like??!

Well they can certainly contract anything they want (see: the gaudy spectacle that is dubai) but for some reason efficient electric cars and rocketry is off the table.
