There was a recent gold standard study out of Israel that showed promise. But the other big one was found to be corrupted by those that did the study. Some studies that weren't as authoritative have also shown no positive effect, some did.

So you would call results mixed.

I saw a post on reddit of a twitter post where a guy had a $5000 bill because he had to wait 5 days for his kids appendicitis procedure and so that must be true. Literally hundreds of these cases, like thousands of them.
