personally, i liek the aesthetic. it has a very modern "industrial" theme and performs as well metaphorically as it does concretely. i'd liek to see the door reduced to a more manageable size though.

Bolsonaro is in by a fairly wide margin. Even the gays and blacks, whom he openly hates, voted for him:

Quote:
According to the Gay Grupo Bahia charity, 387 murders and 58 suicides occurred in Brazil last year due to "homotransphobia" -- an increase of 30 percent as compared with 2016. But Trabuco says he's far more concerned about being unable to "step out into the street with a cell phone in your hand. I'm not just thinking about myself, nor worrying if he'll accept my (sexual) orientation," he added, referring to Bolsonaro. "I'm worried about security and health."
Family lawyer claims Cesar Sayoc is too dumb to launch a bomb campaign. Also, CNN photoshops his picture to look more white. Totally legit!

A new company helps rabbits flee the Bay Area. R-strategists are migrants, and having wrecked California with socialist policies they will now spread out like locusts across the rest of America.

I see that yet another global warming debate was sparked in this thread, so I will post a quick reminder that global warming activism is complete nonsense:
  • Everyone believes the basic science of CO2 as a warming gas.
  • But CO2's global warming ability increases logarithmically (= incredibly slowly) and we already have a huge amount of it. Serious global warming requires increased water vapor in the atmosphere.
  • Computer models of complex chaotic systems like water vapor in the atmosphere are inherently inaccurate
  • Even if the Earth warms, it could be a net positive for humanity, which traditionally does well when plants do well, and plants like hot and wet.
  • Even if it is not, there is nothing the average American can do about it. Emissions in the developed world are actually declining; it's China & the BRICS that lead in CO2 now
TLDR: real environmentalists are concerned about pollution and, yes, African population growth.

The idea that 10000 migrants at a Border Patrol station isn't dangerous, or that it wouldn't be a great way to sneak MS-13 or other terrorists into the country, or that our society will be greatly enriched by another 7300 people on welfare (73% of all Central American immigrants) is so fucking stupid that it can only come from someone who went to college. And if it causes material harm to the United States, is it free speech . . . or treason?

I’m surprised it’s only 73% tbh

They’re the worst. My son’s girlfriend has a great ass though (el Salvador)

Cool

I'd liek to piggyback on Raev's post here and point out that when it comes to efficient warming solutions, a growth of O(log n) is about as good as it gets.

I kinda don't like joking about fascists when it's not myself [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyway... He may not be the fascist they deserve, but he's the fascist they... Not sure if they actually needed a fascist.

He said his opponents can choose extermination or exile. I’m gonna go with fascist

Better question is do we think that’s worse than being a NihiList. I’d say no

I don't know enough about him to slander him fascist or not, but there is a lot of ground between a the union of failure on the left and the hate hovel of the far right. hopefully brazil is able to stop somewhere atop the mountain in the middle where the rewarding clouds of competence rain success upon the responsible. the sad reality for Brazil is that it lacks the wealth of the doddering west to manage delusions of affluence.
