I'm ashamed of looting anything on P99, because it validates that I log on it. If the mob is Lodi it's so much worse.

  1. Show up late to find Lodizal engaged and in the process of being debuffed.
  2. Correctly guess that the SHM/ENC duo intends to to charm Grizlin Bloodfang.
  3. Pretend to be "camping" Grizlin Bloodfang, even though you've just arrived in the zone and Grizlin is currently dead.
  4. When Enchanter tashes and charms Grizlin moments after spawning, start telling lies like, "Hey I was killing that! - that's totally why we're here!"
  5. Petition the staff for a KS on Grizlin Bloodfang
  6. When staff arrives moments later, say ridiculous things like, "Well, taking the gnoll off the table was the ONLY THING WE COULD DO! - It was the ONLY choice left for us!!"
  7. After staff despawns the nearly dead Lodizal, run to the spawn point when you see "Lodizal engages a sea walrus!", like, "OMG CHRISTMAS!" You friggin idiots...
  8. After staff basically says everyone did a wrong thing, say once again, "it was the only legal course we had to get a chance at lodi."

How about this: Camp the damn mob. Do your own work. When you find someone beat you to the punch, wait at a respectable distance while they take their chance or MOVE THE FUCK ON. Dicks moves are dick moves, "legal" or not.

[Sun Oct 08 05:37:07 2017] Sirken says, '<Shaman>, its not against the rules for them to engage a mob. if you wanted the gnoll you should have charmed it before it was attacked'
[Sun Oct 08 05:37:28 2017] <Enchanter> says, 'wasn't possible. They attacked as soon as it respawned'

Imagine going to your families yearly get together (perhaps turkey celebration day) and your auntie or grandma asks what it is you do with your life these days and you have to explain to her that you play petition quest on a free to play emulated everquest server of an 18 year old game.

Lol.

Grandma gets proud when I tell her I’m currently providing online counseling and support to autistic kids with gaming addictions.

But didn't realize that this is more like... P99's 4chan or something.

except instead of random anons its a shark attack of a small clique that posts here all the time. so he's doubly fucked.

Your grandmother must be more proud of you than mother teresa's, MLK's, Paul newman's, and John's Hopkin's parents combined considering the work youre doing here with the population of people on p99.
