The idea that they cannot stop it, say that they can, and hand out 30 day suspensions for being caught shows that they have no genuine interest in maintaining a place where everyone plays as equals.
The efforts to date have only allowed those with the capability to (tech know how or even just multiple access points in one location) box to continue doing so while those that chose to follow the rules, even if they have the capability, see it going on around them and when they report it the first question they are asked by the GM is whats your proof.. so they can stop people reporting it cause there is no way to prove it , unless your dumb enough to abuse their waiver....
So if you know you can't stop it ..than you cannot pretend it doesn't happen and say noone can do it.
the only reasonable answer to this dilema is to let go your pride and take it out of the rules...

Boxing has no negative effect on the community as long as the people doing it follow the rest of the server rules and the PNP... there will be no issues.
I do not hate people that box.. they provide stability to a community as long as they are not dicks. This stability comes in the form of more reliable static groups, more available resses and buffs for everyone. Again this is all contingent on people playing as part of the community..
Just ad to the PNP.. if your boxing. don't cry about trains. if your boxing and the group complains log a toon out and rep the box. theres so many better ways to solve the boxing problem than to say its not happening when anyone who has ever boxed can see it happens every day..in most zones..

You need to lay of that synthetic weed man. Makes you all paranoid and shit. Should get the real stuff. Much better for you. And yes some people do box and get away with it. And you know what. I dont care. It only affects your gameplay if you let it. These servers arent packed to the brim to the point that a few random people boxing are going to kill everyones chances at loot. If they want to be dicks and break the rules then so be it. If they are stupid enough to get caught then thats on them. If they are smart enough to do it without getting caught then more power to them.

Yea boxing does suck man, and can bring people's enjoyment down a notch if they are stuck sharing mobs with a guy and his robot crew.. But sometimes we have to let the GMs do their job and continue on our merry way having as much fun as possible. Which means spending less time arguing with the RnF clan unless that's your cup of tea.

I dont sit on a high horse looking down on people or condemning people for what they do. I live my life the way i want and dont interfere with others unless it does something to directly affect me. I much rather be this way then spending my time on this planet worrying more about what other people do then enjoying the time i have.

I have to defend Thulack on this one and I'll explain why.

We don't surround ourselves with pond scum. We try and find legit people to hang around here, and that, in the end, means more fun for us. Sometimes we can't always be the hero we want to be, but sometimes we can be a hero to the ones that matter. Same goes for IRL. Why aren't you the president, my friend? Why can't you make everyone's life a lot better? You think pinching plastic goods and saving water is going to make the people you walk by in the store a lot happier about their current predicaments?

If you feel you need to do something about the boxing, do it in a professional way instead of shouting continuously in a given zone, or throwing in a petition against everyone who doesn't respond to your tell. Download fraps, take screenshots, be proactive. You can't expect the GMs to do a better job than they are when you are slowing them down with more paperwork, so to speak. You also can't expect to fix anything or call anyone out without some form of genuine evidence or reasonable measure behind your antics.
