It may exist in some form on an emulator somewhere I'm not aware of. But they removed it a long while back. It existed on Al'Kabor up until that was shut down though. So there is some reliable information about it.

That's a fantastic question.

I'm not sure what precipitated the removal of the ring event.

I just wish it could be recreated on P99. Having an actual challenging raid encounter that requires real strategy and gearing to win, rather than the challenge being the spawn time/race. I've always preferred the PvE challenge rather than the PvP challenge. The game can be tuned to be challenging, but unfortunately they didn't really do that until later expansions.

Underfoot was a great expansion to work through for example, especially if you got to experience the raids before the several waves of revamps that watered them down. We didn't even get to see a few of the alpha versions in my guild and we were either top 5 or 10 server wide at the time. I recall one of those events we failed 70 times before winning... Most of them we would wipe 20-30 times before figuring out a winning strategy. It was good shit.
