I'm not sure what to say here except that this is a shame that Loke and Bossco are on the outs over this. DA leadership lied to get a second try at Innoruuk. I think everyone with a clue in both guilds knows this. To call Bossco untrustworthy because he was put into a situation where he was forced to choose between betraying a confidence or helping to conceal a lie against his guild is a pretty raw deal for him. Not that I wouldn't be upset if I were in Loke's position. The whole situation sucks.
It shows Bossco's true character, I dont even know the guy but the few times Ive seen him interact hes seemed like a pretty shadey guys. As Loke said, sometimes we'll win, sometimes you'll win. To risk friendship over 1 target is pretty insane and says alot. I keep my privacy private, I wouldnt go backstabbing a friend just because thier in a rival guild to get my shot at a target. Id just let things happen and what happens happens. No if Bossco and Loke werent on "friendship" status then taking a SS wouldnt be that big of a deal but Loke fully trusted him being IB or not, that sais alot about Loke and alot more about Bossco.

Loke is a pretty cool guy. That being said the whole situation was pretty not cool, especially now that more details are coming out. Bossco's choice was his own, and one many people might have trouble deciding between, because it's the choice of one friend, or a guild which (I can only assume) he has other friends in.

And to not say anything and betray your friends in your guild? Also pretty crappy man. There's no easily defined OMG RIGHT/WRONG choice here.

My hope is Loke and Bossco can get past this and just not discuss anything guild related in the future that can be compromising. excuse the poor spelling.

Your spelling is pretty solid no excuse =)

As for Bossco, the one thing I will give him, is. At least he was man enough to step up and take the blame and admit his to his actions. For that he has some respect from me.

I think there is a right/wrong choice here, don't ask your guildies to lie over a mob. This is the same group of leadership that told Secrets we wiped to the bugged Vox 3 times after they called 30 minutes. Lucky for us we had Secrets in vent trying to help us problem solve getting Vox out of the wall and the lie was caught immediately. This led to their raid leader coming into our vent to meet with Xzerion/Secrets where he was called out on it and backed off so we could get a fair shot once she was out of the wall.

Or how about the raid where Xzerion and Durison were in tells and the 30 minutes was established on CT months ago only to have Durison pretend the conversation never took place and say he wasn't the raid leader so they could claim our 30 minutes was invalid once they took too long to pull? This was the same raid where they charmed the last mob in Fear then broke it to claim "The zone isn't clear!" after the 30 minutes was agreed upon. Do you still wonder why many of us take screen shots when in tells with FB/DA?

I have no qualms about why there is bad blood here. I've never seen my guild be anything but fair to these guys only to repeatedly hear them flat out lie to GMs, on forums, and to our faces. I've seen them train us, attempt to KS (Transcendence and Divintiy can both confirm), and then train themselves only to use that as ammo that we somehow did it.

At the same time, I won't pretend our history has been squeeky clean. I already admitted my disdain at the way the situation with Remedy was handled months ago but I have yet to see that occur a second time.

I wasn't lying for my guild or to GMs. I simply told a friend that my OPINION was that IB probably wasn't involved in DA wiping. I had no problem admitting that. If IB leadership had asked me about it I probably would have told them the same thing. My opinion is my opinion and I've never had a problem with sharing it with anyone. That being said, my opinion isn't proof. I had nothing aside from personal experience and intuition to back that opinion up. If a screenshot of me stating an opinion was what got you dibs on a mob, I'm astounded that that was all it took.

My problem with Bossco is that he distributed screenshots of a private conversation without asking/telling me. It wasn't the content of the screenshot, just the act itself that bothers me. Furthermore, he tried to apologize for it, but upon realizing that I didn't know about it, he pretended the apology was a mistell and continued to act like my friend.

I don't see this happening. Every one of my friends in a competing guild knows that I would never put guild drama infront of a friendship. If I can't trust a person enough to keep personal conversations private, then they're not a person I want as a friend.
