Followed the guide step by step and when I open the Project 1999 file it opens but never actually does anything.

I'm new to mac having only borrowed this computer from my family, and have only downloaded the files in this thread, do I need to download another program to emulate windows or should I be alright with only the files in this thread. As well as my EQ Titanium install.

same issue here. I click on it, shows on my dock. Nothing. Have to force quit eventually.

Are you using Phobus' guide or the Youtube video? I'm using Phobus.

In that case you need to click the download latest wrapper in your Wineskin, and also, as I mentioned about eight posts back...

--->>>Download the latest engine from the wine website.<<<---

When I made my build a month ago the latest engine was WS9Wine1.7.4 but I'm sure it's advanced because the developer's are in a state of rapid micro-updates solving one issue at a time. They're great, read their forums.

There are other things you'll need to tweek once you get it running. I posted links and more details in my previous posts.

Good luck doodz

Updating the wrapper from the Advanced Options -> Tools appears to have fixed my problems. Thank you

Thanks for the great guide! I managed to set everything up on a 13" Retina MacBook Pro.

I only have one issue/question. How do I change the default keyboard layout in Wine for EQ. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you're wondering about Wine's choice of key combos for right-click, center-click, etc., I believe it's hardwired into the software. ie The key choices can't be changed (at this time).

Here's their tech forums, I don't recall where I read the above bit but feel free to look around.

Thanks! My issue is that my Y and Z keys are switched. I suspect it's because Wine is loading qwerty keyboard layout instead of qwertz (which is my system default). I tried to search their forums with no luck.
