I swore that the olympics were going to be the period on the end of the covid 19 sentence.

I thought it would show us that we could gather, and accomplish wonderful human acts of greatness and it would all be OK. That we'd bare witness to what we forgot and remember our future. It would inspire us to get back out there and clean up the mess that 2020 left behind.

But what we got was exactly the opposite of that so far.

US Census Bureau poll if anyone wants to check the data. Looks like 1 in 6 homeowners late on payments think they are heading to foreclosure in 2 months. And almost 50% of people late on rent are likely getting evicted. Lotta houses opening up. End of September could be a bloodbath.
