I am back to being professionally single. The reasons I gave up dating in any real capacity are too many and too neurotic to list.

I won't say never, but stuff like grindr / OKC / tinder felt like more of a time sink which wasn't super profitable. It could be profitable, useful, still requires work, and effort. And risk.

Redoubling all my efforts on personal growth and health. I guess that is selfish. It's keeping me alive though. Also low risk, and I can go really far this year if I stay focused.

I figured it was the better option for trans and CD and it is, but it's still difficult. also hard to market myself. hard to be someone's preference given my unique situation. feels like a waste though

I really wish I could help you here. As a human. I fear I only have a hardened heart and soul.

For me it is a weird experience. Like to want good, like for my favorites, but feel like there's no present capacity to bring it about. I guess it isn't entirely distressing when I realize reality is just going to at the least momentarily be this way. I guess I am just learning some measure of acceptance, even of the worst parts, which frees me to persue my own course, even if it's to nowhere.

You just have to find the right set of bones for you. Try the local cemetary, a necromancers sanctum or even some college class rooms.
