As far as I know, the server only exists as long as it's free to play, lest it be shut down by Sony. So the clear victims here are a) the giant amount of staff time wasted instead of say, working on Velious and b) possibly the entire server being shut down by asshat lawyers.

As long as the staff's official policy continues to be that RMT is against the server rules they won't have any Sony banhammer coming down. Considering that Sony is WELL AWARE of the existence of the server and therefore obviously aware of the rampant RMT that does occur (see platlord) there is no risk of this happening. Its a weak argument at best.

as long as the unpaid volunteer staff is continuing to spend their time policing my rmt so that the server avoids the banhammer then were good

gtfo with this buy at your own risk stuff

the majority of people buying plat are new to the server, and dont understand the context or actual risk of banned accounts on p99

taking advantage of the uninformed or misguided doesnt invalidate their status as victims

The majority of people buying plat are the server staff...see I can make shit up to.
