The submarine that makes the bulk of the "2nd largest fleet in the world"

anyway that's one of their smaller coastal patrol submarines you posted a pic of, one that was captured by SK. They have over 40 of those in operation. It's not the modern sub they built with ballistic missile launchers, which good luck finding any pics of. They have some 6 of those reportedly and in service since 2014. They also operate around 20 Romeo-033 subs which are also not costal subs.

But then you are from france where they think taking everyone's guns will keep you safe lol ...while ignoring every other "obsolete" joke of a weapon that can kill you just fine.

I'm just impressed how well all of this foreign policy speculation fits into the congressional recess; the agenda has its own agenda.

The Project 633 class (known in the West by its NATO reporting name as the Romeo class) is a class of Soviet diesel-electric submarine, built in the 1950s.
oh and the "balistic" ones are the Sinpo class, which are built by north korea.. that should be enough to say about his qualities. They're known to have a range of about 2800 kms, tell me again how the fuck they would launch a ballistic missile on US coast, they're more than 6000 kms short, without even talking about the range of their "ballistic" missile, lol.

So again, tell me how the fuck are they supposed to land a nuke on US soil ?

Your explanation so far is "hurr they have secret technology based on lithium ion batteries that nobody uses beside them durr"

what the fuck is wrong with your brain, seriously ..?

About France, i'll take one Rubis class against their whole navy, not even talking about the new Barracuda class that's about to land [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].. After all one of our submarines did sink a US aircraft carrier on an exercise, i doubt any NK sub would even match anything coming from our shipyards [You must be logged in to view images. I mean, just look at the pic you posted, that sub looks like a fucking Uboat from WW2..

Any modern sub looks like this :

See the difference on the hull ? and you claim to know about subs ..?

Known wat? We don't even have photographs of the sub, we know nothing other than it launches ballistic missiles and that it's not a small sub from satellite reports. That's it, nothing, only what you pull out of your ass, as usual.

Nuclear subs are quickly becoming obsolete in favor for modern diesel-electric subs. france is even planning to build one that can stay under for 3 weeks and cross the Atlantic up to seven times before surfacing. hah and as bad at computer security france is, NK has probably had your plans for years.

Fact remains, we have been chasing a sub off the west coast of the US, and it's either NK, Russian or Iranian, and imo not likely Russian. The operations of a quiet diesel-electric does not depend on the paint job, it depends on the technology within the hull, even upgraded tech as is usually the case. Diesel-electric can be deadly silent compared to nuclear subs. It's just nuclear subs can operate for longer periods of time, months, but this is not required for shorter missions lasting weeks and only provides a disadvantage to that.

Nuclear submarines can pretty much stay underwater for years, the only real limit is food storage and crew morale.
