Theres already a ton of evidence that supports the claim that the large majority of illness is food borne or dietary induced. There are a great deal of leftists saying the exact same thing that i am. I could literally point to 20 documentaries by left leaning commentators on netflix right now, about diet and exercise were/are increasing the cost burden. Aca didnt stop the trend, it didnt even slow it. In fact it accelerated it.
