I think I have read most of this thread. The one thing that amazes me is that despite no matter how many times Dredge gets knocked down—he keeps getting back up.
Good actor or tough as nails or crazy I don't know—but I enjoy the reading.

Proly the root other than his mancrush on Yogi boy. I came here for a decent thread initially and got wrapped into all this. But all in all Dredge got his confidence back, so his co-dependency should subside for a bit.

man, as long as we're getting it all out:
Like many of you, I am sick and tired of being misinformed and disinformed by Mr. Hasbinbad. That's why I'm writing this letter, to fight the good fight. Just so you know, I plan to spend a good deal of this letter discussing Hasbinbad and his naive obloquies. I also plan to say a bit about how people are looking for answers, not ideology, but I'll save that part for the end. He likes advocating tendentious prank phone calls. That's the most damnable thing about him. It's also why I recently heard Hasbinbad tell a bunch of people that we should abandon the institutionalized and revered concept of democracy. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. On the other hand, if Hasbinbad is going to terrorize the public, then he should at least have the self-respect to remind himself of a few things: First, we'll know soon enough just how delirious these kinds of nobodies can be. And second, he wants to squeeze every last drop of blood from our overworked, overtaxed bodies. It gets better: He believes that it's okay if his plans for the future initially cause our quality of life to degrade because "sometime", "someone" will do "something" "somehow" to counteract that trend. I guess no one's ever told him that he's a serial exaggerator. If I were to be less kind, I'd say Hasbinbad is a liar. Either way, he should stop and savor life, not plant the seeds of Oblomovism into the tabulae rasae of children's minds. To top that off, some people think I'm exaggerating when I say that to ignore this issue is to further political and social goals wholly or in part through activities that involve force or violence and a violation of criminal law. But I'm not exaggerating; if anything, I'm understating the situation. Hasbinbad's backers all have serious personal problems. In fact, the way he keeps them loyal to him is by encouraging and exacerbating these problems rather than by helping to overcome them. Hasbinbad has been trying hard to protect what has become a lucrative racket for him. Unfortunately, that lucrative racket has a hard-to-overlook consequence: it will dominate the whole earth and take possession of all its riches one of these days. If anyone should propose a practical scheme for taking the lemons that he's handing us and making lemonade, I should be quite disposed to incur almost any degree of expense to accomplish that object. In the meantime, let me point out that Hasbinbad's belief is that we should cease to talk about "vague and unreal" objectives such as human rights, the raising of living standards, and democratization. Instead, we should be devising increasingly furacious ways to transmogrify society's petty gripes and irrational fears into "issues" to be catered to. That's Hasbinbad's opinion. My opinion is that it's scary how effectively he has been courting a wayward minority of crime-stained prophets of antipluralism. I deeply regret the loss of life and injuries sustained by this tragedy. I am currently working to understand the surrounding circumstances so as to improve our ability to grant people the freedom to pursue any endeavor they deem fitting to their skills, talent, and interest. Throughout human history, drugged-out mendicants have always been feral. So it should come as no surprise that Hasbinbad argues that the bogeyman is going to get us if we don't agree to his demands. To maintain this thesis, Hasbinbad naturally has had to shovel away a mountain of evidence, which he does by the desperate expedient of claiming that his opinions represent the opinions of the majority—or even a plurality. Hasbinbad has a stout belief in astrology, the stars representing the twinkling penumbra of his incandescent belief in oligarchism. His victims have been speaking out for years. Unfortunately, their voices have long been silenced by the roar and thunder of Hasbinbad's cronies, who loudly proclaim that Hasbinbad could do a gentler and fairer job of running the world than anyone else. Regardless of those temeritous proclamations, the truth is that his eccentricity is surpassed only by his vanity and his vanity is surpassed only by his empty theorizing. (Remember his theory that space aliens are out to lay eggs in our innards or ooze their alien hell-slime all over us?) Finally, to those of you who are faithfully helping me recognize and respect the opinions, practices, and behavior of others, let me extend, as always, my deepest gratitude and my most affectionate regards.
