People used to pull the phone line out of their dial-up modem for a few seconds to purposely warp and escape PVP. Is it that hard to believe that there may be a program made to do the same thing?

I mean... I see people making fun of the packet lagger thing all the time. Just seems like it could be a real thing that cuts your internet off from EQ for a few seconds similar to pulling the phone line out of the modem, so I don't get the joke.
