If 2 guilds are going at it, and everyone is using AoN. That sounds like a mess.

Why can't a guild just declare that noone in guild uses AoN, so you can always tell which are the bad guys.

Am I missing something?

Good healers do not manually target players, they /assist who they think are Main assist callers for the other side. If you think players are running around, clicking on character avatars to heal that just isn't how it works. You heal your group or /assist. So taking into account you don't need a visual of the person your healing, having your guys drop skel so that their PD robes for instance, stick out like a sore thumb for someone to go " assist me on this wizard in a bright blue robe" just isn't very strategic

If no AoN's are available I think one side should just not equip armor so you can tell friend from foe easier.

What would be cool. Is a hotkey that toggles thru nearby PCs. But skips ppl in ur guild.

The correct fix is a shorter/correct timeline for all expansions with the "season" ending on a Luclin launch date.

Much like Path of Exile or Diablo seasons you could dump all the chars onto the "non ladder" box

Similarly you could make a perma death server where a slain character is transferred to the non ladder box.

I think that would work out very nicely.

Taking away a classic feature detracts from nostalgia and is applying the wrong fix to whatever is perceived as a problem.

Some players here want to keep their character no matter what, others want semi regular wipes. Others say too many of item X (aon) exist while others enjoy over farming these pixels. My suggestion caters to all these wishes and adds replay value and more opportunities for that sweet "launch PvP" .
