When it comes down to it the reasoning was as follows. Nihilum was putting the pressure on about us being buddy buddy with azrael, we were reaching a point where it was going to be either align with azrael and become KoS to nilly or dissociate ourselves from azrael and gain neutrality, relatively speaking for the time being with nihilum. I was debating which way to go over the last week. My interactions with lite were not positive such as them purposely shutting us out of naggy so they could get more loot etc., and then this.

When lite responded the way he did I saw the writing on the wall combined with some of their retarded players like sickpuppy. Even when we eclipsed them, which we would since they don't recruit nor focus on progression to attract people, that lite would want to call all the shots. Anyone who has dealt with lite knows that he can't be reasoned with. He would want us all in his teamspeak, making the calls, and shouting in his schitzo way at my members. When he would call for VS and I would say hey lets discuss it he would ignore me. Meanwhile his members would continue to kill mine on alts, loot would be funneled to azrael core (aka lite boxes) etc.

I decided the best option is to let azrael die, completely disassociate from it. Draw the line in the sand. If you don't care about progression, think killing level 52's is the pinnacle of Everquest, enjoy dictatorships and poor leadership where you have no input, crying on the forums rather than recruiting and change, then yes, the azrael tag is for you. For everyone else who wants to progress together and is not interested in doing so via nihilum, red dawn is the guild for you.

This doesn't mean we have "allied" with nihilum, far from it, but we realize that we can compete in a civil manner, and not be toxic and what not like azrael desires. I never understood why people can't fight over some dragons and then group up during the day for a fungi group or exp or schmooze. I hope to bring that level of civility.

Loot is random for all who can use and participate. When velious comes we will move to some sort of hybrid dkp model, that will be discussed and voted upon as a guild. The goal of red dawn is transparency.
