You have wildly miscalculated the demographics of p99, imo. Originally I also assumed much as you do, but it's pretty clear what actually drives most people to play eqemu is the fact it's free -- not nostalgia. Thus we have the least literate, least mature forums I've ever pooped on. Here there be the painfully young, the terminally unemployed, the socially retarded. If you need a place to talk to fellow adults or even something as specific as fellow adult gamers or maybe the ludicrously selective group of adult gamers who preferred classic eq then I know a few but they are not here. This place is for the late-night gay porn and the mutilated babies. Expecting more is just inviting disappointment.

I wish I could disagree with you and Daldolma. I always used a litmus test for campaigns in marketing: if it's not interesting, funny, sexy, or cool, don't do it.
