ACA has been bad for a lot of people and sorry to hear you are one of them! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] [You must be logged in to view images. Pre-ACA or Post-ACA...I think we can do much better than either choice with representatives not beholden to wealthy elites. Yes, Citizens United needs to go ASAP because it is a horrible ruling.

it needs to be outright repealed. It's literally destroying the lower-middle class and making a huge gap where there is absolutely no incentive for working.
The left likes to argue for a "living wage" of $15.00/hour; the reality is it needs to be closer to 20/hr in the bay area if you want to eliminate government subsidy, and even then a single person would be living hand-to-mouth in a studio apartment at that rate likely without insurance. (rent @ 1400/month); don't even think about trying that with a family. I guess you could get away with cramming into a 2bedroom apartment in the gang-infested shitholes and watch as degenerate peices of shit try to impregnate your teenage daughters before they're hauled off to prison in the next year or two for violently assaulting/killing some innocent person as an initiation rite into the gang/prison-culture; thus perpetuating "the cycle" those poor gang-bangers.
In areas such as Longview, WA where a 3 br single family home runs 1200 to 1300/month with both people working full time and 1 child in full time daycare 15$/hr under the left's current taxation scheme is doable, if neither parent smokes, drinks, and they both refuse to pay for healthcare for themselves and the children.
Note Aside: I say the "left's current tax scheme" because my withholdings did not change since they were raised in the Obama era despite Trump's supposed "tax breaks", but maybe my tax return will be different when I file for my taxes next month, not very hopeful. I doubt I'll ever see the 3% hike back that came under Obama-fucklord's reign
I don't think the not-so theoretical Longview, WA family would qualify for "Healthy Families" at that rate, so the children would be uninsured, as well.
The left's support of increased taxation is ridiculous. You're essentially supporting an economic system where anyone short of a doctor/lawyer/tenured professor/private business owner with the capital to invest in all of the highly regulated insurance and bonds requirements, or someone without "connections" into a lucrative career in business (most people without "connections" are paid about 40% less than you are) are going to find it much easier to just give up altogether and go into Section 8, SNAP (Food stamps), and free government healthcare for their children while opting out of healthcare for themselves.
But hey, at least fat degenerate pieces of shit are not being disqualified for "pre-existing" conditions with their genetic thyroid issues, or whatever other imaginary excuses they can conjure for being morbidly obese and a huge fucking drain on the healthcare system.
PS. If "thyroid" issues are genetic, than why does 50% of the population have them now, when 40 years ago they were closer to 3%? Must be some sort of fluke pundit square occurence we didn't cover in biology classes. Oh well, I digress. What do i gno, anyways!?
