The reason people here don’t do things like answer a question about their personal lives or “denounce pedophilia” is because people get defensive when you give them an order

They see doing what is requested as being played. I gave the same explanation many times when people asked me to “denounce racism”. I’m not a monkey that’s doing to dance just because someone told me to dance

Speaking for myself, I might follow a request/order to prove something if by doing so I sort of show the person up. For example, I’m not going to “denounce racism” here. But if someone was like “I bet I’m faster than you. I bet you are so scared of how fast I am you wouldn’t even try to race me”

Well now I see myself as having more to gain by proving them wrong, so I am going to post a run time on Runkeeper app or something

The reason things are changed is that these people DO feel there are certain looks and behaviors that are feminine and are chasing those. Wouldn’t you agree?

A man acting like a stereotypical bimbo is stunning and brave. An actual woman acting like a stereotypical bimbo is a shameful slave to the patriarchy and a terrible role model for young girls.

And I mostly am on board with just letting people live however they want, I have no desire to abuse and harass anyone, but when they start blatantly encroaching on the rights of real women it does become a problem. You can't claim to be "minding your own business" anymore when you're stealing trophies from female athletes and getting naked in their locker rooms and bathrooms. And it's especially galling when those women complain about it and you tell them *they* have the problem. It's blatant misogyny repackaged as some kind of civil rights struggle.

Lol "QAnon" at this point is literally a lib conspiracy theory. I've never once heard anyone on the right talk about qanon, being in it, liking it, being associated with it, nothing. But flip on msnbc and they're like "qanon is everywhere!!! the extremists are coming!!". Get a grip. Go outside.

Like so many things there's a major supply and demand problem with these qanon guys. Ditto for nazis, racists, white supremacists, fascists etc.. etc..
