A mask helps better than nothing. the n95 mask would be ideal. That's the result of the data adding up across the world.

I thought most corona transmission was either contact, or aerosol (ie droplets of water/mucus in the air containing coronavirus). The mask doesn't need to be small enough to catch a single coronavirus, it needs to be able to catch those moisture droplets in the air.
