id try to make sure she was okay (how's she feeling, etc.), seek to ascertain the source of the concern, inspect the druink, did she leave it unattended,who has been around her, etc. and then if i acquire the same concern maybe take a sample of it with us when we leave and in any case suggest that we leave or at a minimum stick together because she is obviously out of sorts whether something was put in her drink or not. either way, wouldn't let her out of my sight and would alert our friends.

I always thought the song was about getting warm on liquor during a holiday snow and having sex.

Con be interpreted different ways. Might mean strong liquor .. "wow, what did you put in this?" or it could mean date rape "what's in this? some kind of date rape drug?" but that isn't in the song. Like many artistic things its left up to the listeners imagination.

They were both getting liquored up, in a romantic setting, the woman knows whats up and so does the man. Errrr body in dis clubb gettin Tipsy *bass beats*. The lyrics are from her point of view, at least the controversial ones perhaps, during a more conservative time in America.

that's a false equivalency though, pokes. if you don't see that then you are either deluded (no offense, we all find ourselves this way at times in one regard or another), dishonest or insincere.

assuming you are sincere, set aside the visceral and engage the rational. you could experience a lot of growth if you found a way to do that and it'd probably lead to greater happiness ^^ otoh if rigid adherence to this schedule of broken thought (most pre-established worldviews are!) is necessary for you to maintain a respectable level of civility in your life then I'll shut up ^^ i understand and respect that. most us lean on delusion to remain upright. perhaps all.

I wouldn't play that song or turn it up without expecting a negative, possibly hostile reaction from a liberal sjw "in the know".

Now I personally prefer manipulation, espionage, subterfuge, I mean diplomatic channels versus drugs.

Granted you could probably have sex with me if you brushed your teeth and bought me fancy patisserie.

So I find date rape really pathetic.

Then again being told to kill myself by people online is typically the highlight of my days.

thats the false equivalency [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] you are supremely talented at debate and from how you go about it I gather it's entirely intuitive. whether it is or is not though it is a marvel.

to be clear, I did not say that, but I do not disagree with it either, conditionally. i don't recognize the scenario that you outlined to be anywhere in the realm of the scenario in the song though. context is relevant. and thank you for not considering my words dastardly. they weren't meant that way ^^
