That's pretty much why I go to church. On the matter of God I am still mostly indifferent. I go for people, hopefully that's good enough for God if she exists. I feel like faking the faith part would not be genuine.

I'm sure it is.
The pomp and circumstance is what I hate about church. Stand up. Sit down. Fuck that. But I'll take saturday off and really spend some time thinking about and praising god once a week for sure! It's honestly great. It gievs me hope that god really is a good dude who wants us to just relax, enjoy the world, and thank em for it. Not stand up and sit down and kiss some old mans ring. But I do love church for community outreach, and think that it's a great thing, because in a lot of communities you just dont have someone to pat you on the back and say, that it's ok its ok to feel this way, we're going to forgive you and love you for it no matter what, just know that we love you and want to be with you, and we're there for you and god is too. So many people dont have that, not once in their lives out there. | ||
