Of course I'm not saying that. There's not a uniformly accepted list of races. Depending on who you ask, you may get anywhere from three to dozens. With that in mind, in modern dialogue, there are racial distinctions that run along social and geographic boundaries that don't strictly follow genetics. Is "African American" a race, or an ethnicity? You will find people that argue both. In either case, the term is strictly defined by both genetics and geography.

This is also false on both levels. The only thing you can really say about skin color is that a child can be no darker than its darkest parent. It's not a single on/off switch, it's a continuum of gene interactions.

Also recessive doesn't equate to expressed less in the population. Many traits are recessive and more common than dominant traits.
