moving to a more broader technosignature search is good, was always retarded trying to find ET from radio signals in hindsight and SETI is still just focusing on that mainly, any civ only like a thousand years more advanced than us isn't going to be using radio anymore and anything tens or hundreds of thousands of years more advanced is going to be using some quantum bullshit we don't understand or know how to monitor for to begin with
