There's no we. It's just you, comrade. And when I talk about them as a group, even if you're a part of that group, it doesn't mean I mean you. You can take it that way. It's an unfortunate consequence of strongly identifying with a larger group. People get mad when the stickers they labeled themselves with get criticized.
More to the point, if you want to keep your sticker, you have to have a nicer opinion regarding trans/crazy degenerates like myself, okay?

Yeah losing weight (if that’s your goal) while stopping smoking is going to be twice as hard because as smokers know all too well, smoking curbs appetite. Without smoking that appetite rebounds One thing that helped me with the constant gnawing hunger pains when trying to reduce calories is to trick the mind that the stomach is more full by filling the stomach with a flavored liquid. Water is always important but it won’t work in this situation for some reason My cousin who is a personal trainer does those crystal lite packets in water, I personally do big cups of decaf coffee with powdered 0 sugar creamer. I would do regular coffee but I already do regular coffee in the morning AND pre-workout powder at night and so any more caffeine would be too much Anyway, for you it doesn’t have to be crystal lite packets in water or decaf coffee, any flavored liquid with ideally no calories or sugar will work. Fill the stomach up and it tricks it somewhat. Did I already mention this? Sorry if I am repeating myself Down to hear some updates on progress Grats on the date too!

Sounds crazy, but you can suck on something like a button, and it'll really help with having something in your mouth. And it's a lot like chewing, it tricks your stomach into thinking you're eating things.
As far as snack goes, anything that crunch leaves you extra satisfied so carrots are great, pretzels are also great. Anything too sugary might increase your cravings, avoid! Good luck, Cecily, on your attempt. You miss all the shots you odn't take so good on you for trying, for succeeding.

For years I have forced myself to eat a full plate of steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, peas mix usually) every single night. It tastes like ass. Always. I call it my “medicine” and I just force it down. When I had coronavirus last year I was expecting to lose my sense of taste and smell since that was an extremely common symptom. I remember thinking “I’m going to eat even MORE veggies than I usually do, because I won’t be able to taste them. I’m going to eat veggies all fucking day!” So a few days into the virus I made a plate of veggies during the day. Started eating them, tasted just as shitty as they always did. Turns out I was one of the few who never lost taste and smell with the virus [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I never was big on pretzels but I snack on nuts. I get those habanero flavored almonds and some lightly salted mixed nuts. It’s a healthy kind of fat but high calorie, so it’s easy to go too hard on them. I try to only do a small handful in a day

TY unsung! I am gonna put on weight. No getting around it. Right now, my focus is to stabilize my mental health and get my lungs back to baseline functioning. Day 4-5-6 night time withdrawals were BAD. Hopefully I stopped before irreversible damage. Coughing a lot lately. Interesting thing is it feels better to breath now, so yeah just did a sprint for as long as I could. Gonna keep trying to do that daily and build up some endurance. I have a pretty safe 1.8 mile block nearby I use for walking at night. Just gonna use that route for running and hopefully I'll be able to do laps before the weather gets cold this year.
