Daldaen might be the reason you have to stand to cast....

Just be glad you use an unclassic client that lets you autorun out of sit or spell book instead of requiring you manually stand to get out of sitting positions. Maybe one day Nilbog will move us to the trilogy client that prevents such unclassic movements.

I think rooted mobs are ridiculous! Biggest zerg wins...do we really want to play this game (no) <3
I dont post in RnF...but there is nothing stopping a non zerg to be a super zerg.

In order to get the kill, you have to engage +2 guards (and now +4 guards for Vulak). This is the reason you need high numbers to kill mobs. If there was no leapfrogging, any standard size guild could head through NToV and kill dragons.

What's the barrier of letting someone have a mob? Mob spawns ----> "Aftermath's target is Vulak please do not leap frog" Mob spawns ----> Everyone coths up to trips and kills trash mobs ----> Who's leap frogging who Mob spawns ----> Okay guys first guild to coth 50 people to aary ledge has first rights to the mob None of that shit is feasible. Nor is it fun. Honestly a lot of shit about this meta just isn't fun. Eashen every week.... AM/Riot trains each other on accident 4 times and then lawyerquests from there.. I mean seriously.... 200+ people in a 5 foot stretch of wall. Woops someone trained everyone. Woops someone who is KoS took a rez and now all the hatchlings are in camp. Who was it on first though?? Lady M summons from Egypt ...... Lady M / Koi being up at the same time is insane. Vulak spawns.... clear for 45 minutes ... lady n spawns .... get 120 people to zone in. Coth to Lady N. Kill lady N. get back to trips. clear trash, pray another dragon doesn't spawn. Having to throw 120 bodies at Vyemm to have a chance if it's contested. Waiting at the zone line to mobilize for a dragon because 6 people ninja-afk'd Also don't hit me with the Muh loot conveyor belt slant. I've said the same thing since Day #1 of rooted dragons. That EarthQuake was one of the most fun experiences playing on p99, but I have a feeling that it will get old very quick. Even in a world where Guard Guard merges with aegis who merges with AM and we got the lion's share of the loot again, i'd be saying the same shit. This version of ToV raiding is lame.

A lot of Riot is from CSG and such, so we are seeing this content with a different perspective than you are.

I don't like rooted dragons for a few reasons but the idea that AM members don't like it because it allows the bigger zerg to win is laughable, in an era that didnt require a zerg Aftermath inflated themselves to the point where they were the largest guild in P99 history, even Riot hasn't reached the numbers that AM achieved in the zone pull meta.

If we had a high barrier of entry during the zone pull era, we would have been elitist dick heads who want to hoard all the loot to our core. But we had a pretty relaxed recruitment method. In the past, we had a mage who had started playing EverQuest a month prior doing Vulak coth. We could have closed recruitment for a year, and just fed our alts forever. Aftermath became a zerg because people wanted to join our guild, and we let them. Even though we didn't need a zerg. Just like on the other side, 20-25 people did all the heavy lifting. I mean, I guess it was nice to have a shit load of people incase you needed to kill an AoW at 4am. We weren't really actively recruiting though. It's not like Cheanna was out there sending tells to random players trying to get them to join so that we could have all the raiders on the server. If Aftermath was such a big and bad evil zerg, why didn't tempest/awakened merge with AG/Paradigm Shift/Every single person who wants to raid on the server before the dragons were rooted? It's because those other guilds would have never joined up with tempest/awakened. They wanted to try and do it themselves. And then they rooted the dragons, which made it literally impossible to do so. The most bored I've ever been raiding on this server was when Awakened was suspended for like 2 months. I've always wanted a competitive raid scene. My point is, trying to zerg shame a guild that didn't need to be a zerg is kind of pointless. It wasn't the 110 people that showed up on the kill log that won us mobs, it was the 20 people that were online before that. The fact that you have to bring 110 just to be dealt a hand is, in my opinion, bad.
