OK, you have a pet you can command, but besides that if you're in a situation with no mana and you want something dead then perhaps you'd regret not leveling up weapon. Sure the green is not going to kill you butit's going harass you until you kill it. I don't know why you wouldn't wack on the mob while grouping to get your skill up.

Grouping? What is that? I solo'd or duo'd with a healer to 41. If I whacked a mob I took damage. So when soloing since my healing is keeping myself Runed and bandages I decided not to go up and melee things cause they kinda killed me quick.

Also if I'm oom and mobs around me are not dead I got into more then I could handle and should be running not meleeing.

However this conversation is all counterintuitive to the threads main message, I'll be disappearing back into spectator mode now.

You do know you get mailed when someone responds to a post right? You do know that notifies you when you get mail right? And why not respond? You have no problem responding or posting. Is only cool if you do it?

You're point is taken. But I stand by the notion that when in a group a caster should wack mobs once in a while to get weapon up. Makes no sense not to.
